ChatGPT and other artificial intelligence large language models (LLMs) are being widely used, impacting students’ learning and the way faculty teach and assess learning. We are still learning about this technology, how it is being used, and how we can respond. This workshop introduces faculty to generative AI and shares high-impact practices to ethically and responsibly incorporate AI in the curriculum while also addressing concerns about academic integrity. Join us in a conversation about our experiences with generative AI, and share ideas about how we can move forward to support faculty and students to reskill and upskill in the age of AI. While we do not have definitive answers, we think it is important to engage in conversation about this emerging technology.
